It's Christmas time and This is Reportage just gave me the best gift a wedding photographer can get.

Being awarded is always amazing, but when the award comes from This is Reportage, for me the most representative association in the world for wedding reportage in this moment, it is an emotion really difficult to be described. It took me a while to process the news.

It is incredible how Alan Law, the founder, created in a short time this wonderful new group that is growing every day more and with such an high level of photography and I thank him for that.

I'm so proud and honoured to be Photographer of the year 2019 for this great association, with 17 Awards won in 2019 (including 8 Story Awards) and I have to thank so many people for that.

First of all I have to thank my wife Silvia. The 2019 wedding season was the first with our son Leonardo crawling (and then running!) everywhere in the house and she did a great job also supporting me in everything I do.

This award couldn't have come without the couples that trusted me and above all, all the second photographers that helped me during the last year: without them watching my back, I coudn't have achived this wonderful result.
