Same-sex wedding in Tuscany at Capanna Suites Montalcino means entering a celebration where personality, colour and atmosphere play a central role. Set in the open landscapes of Val d’Orcia, this wedding was shaped by a clear desire to move beyond expectations and create a day that felt authentic and visually expressive.
Beatrice and Licia chose to design their own dresses, defining from the very beginning a strong visual identity that reflected their energy and fearless spirit. Their approach influenced the entire rhythm of the celebration, turning each moment into an extension of their character rather than a repetition of traditional wedding structures.
Heavy rain during the preparations introduced an element of uncertainty and required everyone to adapt. Instead of slowing down the experience, it created anticipation.
When the weather finally improved, the ceremony took place outdoors, surrounded by the open landscapes of Val d’Orcia. The wide horizon and the soft lines of the Tuscan countryside provided depth without distracting from the emotional core of the moment. Guests gathered closely, reacting with laughter, applause and shared gestures that defined the rhythm of the ceremony.
As the afternoon progressed, the return of sunlight transformed the atmosphere.
The terraces and gardens of Capanna Suites in Montalcino became places of encounter and movement, where conversations, embraces and small interactions shaped a continuous visual flow. The changing light added intensity to colours and textures, allowing the surrounding landscape to become part of the experience.
The portrait session became one of the most dynamic and vibrant moments of this wedding . Guided by the energy of the couple and by the extraordinary quality of the evening light, we moved through open roads, cypress-lined perspectives and golden fields.
This same-sex wedding in Tuscany showed how a celebration can move beyond tradition while remaining deeply connected to place, people and atmosphere. Capanna Suites offered a setting that supported this approach allowing the wedding to develop freely and to be experienced as a sequence of genuine and memorable moments.
