Smoke, lights, bubbles and a bit of controlled cha Smoke, lights, bubbles and a bit of controlled chaos.⁠ ⁠ Sometimes a simple setup is enough to completely change the mood of an image. For this shot I used a black plexiglass surface, a small amount of smoke, continuous lights and a very close subject to create something more graphic, cinematic and unexpected.⁠ ⁠ No big production. Just a few elements, placed in the right way, and a bit of patience.⁠ ⁠ This is one of the things I love most about photography: even after many years, there is always room to play, test, fail, adjust and find something new.⁠ ⁠ The backstage video was intentionally exposed to show the behind the scenes and keep the darker areas readable. Photographing a wedding for another wedding photog Photographing a wedding for another wedding photographer hits differently.⁠ ⁠ Gennaro is not only a talented wedding photographer. He is also a friend, someone I’ve shared many conversations, doubts and ideas about photography with over the years and someone who once told me that the first workshop he ever attended was one of mine.⁠ ⁠ So being chosen to tell his wedding story with Francesca meant a lot.⁠ ⁠ Their wedding in Cilento, at Tana di Volpe, was full of everything I love to photograph: emotion, energy, family, chaos, beauty, light and all those unexpected little moments that make a day feel completely alive.⁠ ⁠ Choosing only 20 images for this carousel was almost impossible. So I chose them by instinct.⁠ ⁠ Not just the “best” photographs, but the ones that made me smile. The ones that brought me back to the feeling of the day. Sometimes, everything just aligns perfectly ⁠ ⁠ An Sometimes, everything just aligns perfectly ⁠ ⁠ An intimate wedding in Tuscany, surrounded by rolling hills, warm light and some of the kindest people.⁠ Just a few hours together, around 30 guests and yet nothing felt rushed. The day had its own rhythm and everything seemed to find the right space naturally.⁠ ⁠ Colleen and Brandon were simply amazing to photograph. Relaxed, happy and fully enjoying every second of the day.⁠ ⁠ Villa Le Bolli once again proved to be one of those places that truly feel like Tuscany: authentic, quiet and effortlessly beautiful.⁠ ⁠ Sometimes you really don’t need a full-day wedding to create something meaningful. You just need the right atmosphere, the right people and beautiful light to play with.⁠ ⁠ A lot of people asked me about the first image after I shared a behind-the-scenes story while shooting it. Sometimes a story begins even before the wedding d Sometimes a story begins even before the wedding day.Photographing an engagement session is always special, but when the couple is a fellow photographer, it carries an extra layer of trust and meaning.Gennaro and Francesca chose the historic centre of Florence for their session, letting the city become part of their story. Three places in Tuscany.⁠ ⁠ Zoe and Ross live in Japan, but for a short time their story unfolded in Italy.⁠ We started in Florence, walking through the historic heart of the city. Stone, sculptures and architecture shaped the rhythm of the session, creating a timeless atmosphere even under a soft, cloudy sky.⁠ ⁠ The day after, everything changed.⁠ Siena opened up slowly and from there we moved into the Tuscan countryside. Nine images. One year of contests.⁠ ⁠ A selection Nine images. One year of contests.⁠ ⁠ A selection of photographs awarded during the past year by @fearlessphotographerscom , including three from the latest round that brought my total to nine Fearless Awards, placing me in the Top 3 of the Photographer of the Year 2025 ranking.⁠ ⁠ Each image in this carousel represents a moment where emotion met intention, sometimes found instinctively, other times carefully imagined and built. Some were born in a fraction of a second, others started as an idea long before the shutter was pressed.⁠ ⁠ In 2021 I had the honour of winning Fearless Photographer of the Year, and standing on the podium again is always something I’m deeply grateful for. Not as a goal in itself, but as confirmation that pushing ideas, experimenting, and staying curious still matters.⁠ ⁠ Thank you to Fearless Photographers, the judges, and to all the couples who trusted me with their stories.⁠ And congratulations to all the photographers who were awarded. It was simply an amazing wedding. From the very be It was simply an amazing wedding. From the very beginning, everything was filled with energy, smiles, and a sense of celebration: different elements coming together to create something new. In many ways, that’s exactly how this day felt and the first image of this carousel, inspired by RGB additive synthesis, represents this.⁠ ⁠ This wedding took place here in Tuscany, where I’m based and work most of the time. Photographing a couple from my own area is always something I truly enjoy; there’s a natural connection that makes the story feel even more real.⁠ ⁠ When the weather forced us to postpone the couple session until after sunset, nothing changed. The atmosphere stayed the same, the energy never faded.
