A different perspective can transform something simple into something extraordinary. This is exactly what I strive to do every time I shoot: not just capture a moment, but interpret it through my vision and the way I perceive light. ⁠ ⁠ Some weddings surprise you more than others, and Sarita @stangarita and Jordan’s was one of them. A day thoughtfully curated, with a carefree and joyful couple who truly enjoyed every moment. From the United States to Tuscany to celebrate their love, they chose Villa Le Bolli, nestled in the rolling hills of Siena, as the perfect setting for this special day. Last week, I attended @docday_ for the third time, Last week, I attended @docday_ for the third time, a fantastic documentary wedding photography conference held annually in Dublin. I know the event well and even had the honor of being one of the speakers a few years ago. If you've never been, I highly recommend attending. ⁠ ⁠ At the start of the event, my dear friends and organizers @kevin_kheffache and @anniekheffache shared the total number of awards earned by all attendees within the @thisisreportage association. Imagine my surprise when I found out that, in a room full of talented photographers, I had the highest lifetime award count (72 awards), I honestly wasn't expecting it!⁠ ⁠ I have a deep connection with this association—back in 2019, I was named Photographer of the Year, which was my first major international title, something I had been striving for a long time. Love is a #blossom 🌸⁠ .⁠ you've got to let Love is a #blossom 🌸⁠ .⁠ you've got to let grow as John Lennon once said and as a wedding photographer I have the priviledge of knowing the amazing love stories of the couples I meet in my incredible work as @babrwa and @enrico.bertagna one. They decided to celebrate their wedding in #cinqueterre with a wonderful ceremony on a terrace framed by a stunning view on the Mediterranean Sea and blessed with an incredible sunshine, unexpected a few hours before. ⁠ Their love and emotions filled the air while they were saying I do, surrounded by friends and family in a day that never stopped of revealing unforgettable moments. #candlelight wedding 🌖⁠ .⁠ The Abbey of San #candlelight wedding 🌖⁠ .⁠ The Abbey of San Galgano is certainly one of the most evocative locations in Tuscany, an ancient roofless building in the middle of Siena countryside that offers the perfect location for a wedding. I have shot here many times, but never an evening wedding like @veronica_6782 and Carlo Alberto decided to have. Well, even after many years of being a wedding photographer, this was my first time and although I know the place like the back of my hand. ⁠ I can't deny that I had a certain fear because I had no idea of ​​the light conditions in which I would have to shoot especially during ceremony, but I was also super excited because I had the chance to shoot in conditions I'd never tried before and you know how much I love challenges, especially photographic ones that allow me to take shots I've never tried before. What an amazing year was this one! ✨⁠ .⁠ I k What an amazing year was this one! ✨⁠ .⁠ I know that maybe it ks a little bit early to make this post since it takes other two weeks for the New Year to come, but I was in my Studio yesterday, preparing all the data and the photos and I realized that since the beginning of my career I got 87 Lifetime awards @fearlessphotographerscom and 171 Lifetime awards @proweddingphotographers_ispwp , that is a really huge number of which I'm really proud of.⁠ I started reviewing all the photos awarded in the past years and I saw how my style changed, yet always lead by the importance of being true to myself. I mean, obviously as I started as a Wedding Photographer when I was only 18 and now... well I'm closer to 40 then to 30!⁠ It was not just a gallery of awards, but also of memories each photo reminds me of, personal pieces of life entertwined with incredible couples I met.⁠ As the cherry on top, this year I was awarded with the⁠ 1° place in Italy @thisisreportage 2024 and I got 3 images finalist in @iwpotyawards , that means even more to me considering these results come from very important associations with a really high level of participants and quality of images.⁠ So, what can I say more? #flowerpower 🌺🌷⁠ .⁠ And as we head towar #flowerpower 🌺🌷⁠ .⁠ And as we head towards the end of this year here is another gorgeous wedding from this past season that I will remember for a long time. ⁠ @woaahhhnellie and @blake_ziffer decided to get married in a magical location in central Italy, the Torre Alfina Castle, a splendid historic venue. ⁠ I already knew that this wedding would be special and Nellie and Blake gave their all during their day, they never held back, they joked even when the weather seemed not to be in their favor and dark clouds were on the horizon. They had the patience to wait to be kissed by the italian sun and then have a splendid and moving ceremony in the garden where gigantic and splendid flowers served as a frame for my photographs. And among laughters, cheers and friends I had the opportunity to realize amazing shots inside the impressive frescoed rooms of this beautiful location, framing the couple thanks to artistic works, symmetry and perspectives, things that I love and that I love shooting for.
