ENG: Those who follow this blog know that I do not post very often "personal" articles, but for me this is really a special occasion I'd like to share with all of you. A few days ago ended the annual ANFM (National Association Wedding Photographers) convention, the largest association of professionals specialized on wedding photography in Italy. Before knowing this reality every time I thought of the word "convention" I used to think about something boring, with no educational value and uninteresting. ANFM has totally changed my idea, improving meetings every year, making sure that it would create a network of professionals every time closer, ready to cooperate with one each other, leaving aside envy and jealousy, with the desire to test, learn and grow professionally. This is possible thanks to the people who are employed constantly and spend  time and effort to this, first of all the president Marco Miglianti and directors. Every year there are two competitions, one for album of the year and another one for the photographer of the year (the latter through 4 contests) and in the last one, with great satisfaction, this year I was awarded with the second place. When I was given the microphone to say a few words about it, a lot of thoughts rushed in mind, all the people I should say thank you,  I was a little "confused" for the emotion ... Certainly the first thank goes to Daniele Nardi who in the past year helped me in the weddings and without a doubt, besides being a valuable aid is first and foremost a great friend. The second thought is for the colleagues and special friends who continue to be my reference point, always ready to give me advice and a helping hand whenever I need it: Andrea Corsi, Daniele Vertelli, Fortunato Caracciolo, Federico Valenzano, Francesco Spighi. The list could be even longer, please forgive me if I forgot to mention someone... 🙂 Below the 15 shots rewarded in the contests: ITA: Chi segue questo blog sa bene che non pubblico molto spesso articoli "personali" ma questa per me è davvero un'occasione speciale che vorrei condividere. Da qualche giorno si è conclusa l'annuale convention ANFM (associazione nazionale fotografi matrimonialisti), la più importante associazione di professionisti specializzati sulla fotografia di matrimonio in Italia. Prima di conoscere questa realtà ogni volta che pensavo alla parola convention mi veniva in mente un qualcosa di noioso, senza alcun valore formativo e decisamente poco interessante. ANFM ha totalmente ribaltato la mia idea, migliorando gli incontri di anno in anno, facendo sì che si creasse una rete di professionisti sempre più stretta, pronti a collaborare l'uno con l'altro, lasciando da parte invidie e gelosie, con la voglia di mettersi alla prova, confrontarsi e crescere professionalmente. Questo è possibile grazie alle persone che si impegnano constantemente e dedicano tempo e fatica a tutto ciò, primi fra tutti il presidente Marco Miglianti e il direttivo. Ogni anno vengono istituiti due concorsi, quello per l'album dell'anno e quello per il fotografo dell'anno (quest'ultimo attraverso 4 contest) e in quest'ultima, con grande soddisfazione, quest'anno mi sono posizionato al secondo posto. Quando mi è stato dato il microfono per dire qualche parola in merito, mi sono passati in mente un sacco di pensieri e soprattutto di persone da ringraziare anche se l'emozione mi ha un po' "confuso"... Certamente il primo ringraziamento va a chi nel passato anno mi ha assistito nei vari matrimoni realizzati e senza ombra di dubbio a Daniele Nardi, che oltre ad essere un aiuto prezioso è in primis un grande amico. Il secondo pensiero va ai colleghi e soprattutto amici che continuano ad essere il mio punto di riferimento e sempre pronti a darmi un consiglio e una mano ogni qualvolta ne abbia bisogno: Andrea Corsi, Daniele Vertelli, Fortunato Caracciolo, Federico Valenzano, Francesco Spighi. In realtà la lista sarebbe ancora più lunga ma non me ne voglia chi non ho citato... 🙂 Di seguito troverete i 15 scatti premiati nei vari contest:
